  1. Hi Hoffer, I am not sure whether this offer is still valid. Just in case, let you know I worked as a Oracle Flexcube (Financial solutions from Oracle) systems analyst for 07 years in Dubai for a private commercial bank. Have had similar experiences of working with Oracle DB and AIX systems. Surely I was not a fulltime DBA, however last 10 years I am working with SQLs, RACs, Oracle databases and similar tools so I am pretty confident about these applications. Just wondering whether my profile interrests you?
  2. Hi, today Case officer is allocated to my 475 Visa application!!! Hope things will move faster now!!!
  3. Hi All, Today my SS application for 190 visa has been declined by immi SA saying that I was previously approved. Following is the detail: "Application refused, as the applicant has previously been approved for State Nomination Reference Number ****** and was approved on 28 Oct 2011. Application refused as the applicant is a 475 visa holder. Applicants who have previously been approved for state nomination for a 475 or 487 visa subclass (from any State or Territory) or family sponsored and have been granted the visa or have lodged their visa application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) are unable to apply for South Australian State Nomination again for a 190 or 489 visa subclass. As is stated on the Immigration SA website: https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/node/104 See Point 15. Refusal Reasons. There is no re-visit on this application. As Immigration SA will not be nominating you through SkillSelect, you may wish to edit your Expression of Interest (EOI). Should you require migration advice, you may wish to use the services of a registered Migration Agent to obtain information on possible alternative migration pathways." But I am surprised that they mentioned I am already a 475 visa holder, however I didn't even get my CO allocated for my 475 visa application :dull:. Dont know what to do? Should I communicate with immi SA or not?
  4. No! not even got case officer allocated. I guess things are a bit slow now after this skillselect comes into picture. And skillselect applicants have more priority over pre-July applicants.
  5. Ok, forget about 190 buddy. Lets go forward with 475. At least refusal has saved you from spending $3000 one more time. If things are ok you will be succeed even with your 475. Don't worry.
  6. @Ashish I lodged myself, from HR country, received state sponsorship from SA. Please see my signature.
  7. Visa type : 475 Sponsor: South Australia Lodged on: Jun 21, 2012 CO: Not yet allocated Current Status: Waiting for CO to be allocated???
  8. Hi immiausi, Please visit following site for withdrawing visa application: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/withdrawing-visa-application.htm I submitted my sponsorship application on Jul 3, Docs registered on Jul 9. I guess immi SA will process my application in next 1/2 days as today online application status has been changed and it shows " Immigration SA is unable to provide an indication of processing times. Keep monitoring this page and your e-mail for the decision on your application ". By the way, what's the status of your sponsorship and visa application, what's ur ANZSCO code?
  9. Hi immiausi, Same thing, they replied my email saying that it will be a refusal. However they did not process my application yet. Further I told them that I am ready to withdraw my 475 application if they sponsor me for 190 visa. They didn't replied back till date. I don't know what's their problem if they sponsor one more time. Immigration SA should take up this issue with DIAC. I guess lot of people facing the same problem.
  10. Hi, anybody lodged 475 visa between during June with sponsorship from SA? I lodged mine on 21 June but not yet heard anything from DIAC. However I am supposed to get CO assigned within 4th week of lodgement. What is your status? Please update.
  11. Hi, today I have seen the following at immigration SA website and am totally disappointed as my 2nd application to SA for 190 visa will be refused. My previous approved application was for 475 visa: "15.2 If you have previously been approved for state nomination and are the holder of a 475 or 487 provisional visa or have lodged a 475 or 487 visa with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) you will not be eligible for state nomination for a subclass 489 or 190 visa and your application will be refused." But this new criteria will deprive potential candidate to get a better visa option. They should at least consider the application which is for a better visa, for example: previous application was for 475 temporary visa and new application is for 190 permanent visa. We should raise/inform our concern to SA for justification. I have already sent a mail to immigration SA in this regard. Guys please come forward.
  12. Hi All, here comes the good news for u guys regarding IELTS.. Quote from immigration SA site - "Changes to IELTS requirements for General Skilled Migration (190 Permanent and 489 Provisional) State Nomination applications from 17 July 2012 Applicants who submitted state nomination applications online prior to 14 July 2012 must meet the listed occupational IELTS requirement for their occupation which applied at the time of submission. Applicants who submitted state nomination applications online from 17 July 2012 must meet any new occupational IELTS requirements.https://www.immigration.sa.gov.au/node/53" Cheers!!!!
  13. I didn't find any link to track my application in the old system.
  14. Immigration SA only knows whether they will consider last week requirement or not? Same thing happened to me also with 6.0 in speaking. Let's wait and see!
  15. Hi, Did u check SA site today? They have increased the IELTS band score to 6.5 for all ICT occupations.
  16. Hi, I have 9 year long [2003 to 2012] experience in the field of IT in two different organizations. However in my ACS assessment [261112 - systems analyst] the outcome reads as: * 1st organization - 2003 to 2007 - 0 year 0 months - NOT assessable due to insufficient detail * 2nd organization - 2007 to 2012 - 5 year 2 months Although I have claimed points based on my 9 year experience in submitting EOI, I doubt whether DIAC rejects my application since my work experience in 1st organization is not recognized by ACS and consequently my point will go down to 55. However I have collected all the documents [which was not submitted to ACS] from my previous [1st] employer after the ACS skill assessment done in case DIAC ask for those. Anyone has idea/experience on this issue? i.e. DIAC calculates work experiences on their own or they just follow whatever stated in ACS skill assessment? Someone please shed some light on this?
  17. Hi Uma, I think you r putting the same experiences in EOI as recognized by ACS and which is why you are getting 55 points. Please put all your experiences, i.e. 8 yr 6 months while feeding EOI. Although your 6 month experience was not recognized by ACS but that doesn't mean that, that 6 month is not countable. However, by the time you get state sponsorship, get invitation, you will acquire ACS recognized 8 year experience also, as DIAC's point test calculates experience from the date of INVITATION, not from EOI lodgement date [http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/points-tested-migration-fact-sheet.pdf]. Hope this statement makes sense
  18. Guys, this issue is resolved now, just now I have completed and submitted mine. Good luck.
  19. Hi guys, I also encountered same problem today. Didn't proceed after that. Sent mail to gsm.sa@sa.gov.au. Let's wait for their response.
  20. Hi All, I lodged my 475 visa application under State Sponsorship from South Australia on 21 Jun 2012. However, recently DIAC has reduced the pass mark to 60 which triggers my possibility to apply for 190 Permanent Visa again under state sponsorship. Now I have two questions in my mind: 1. Will South Australia still be interested to sponsor me for Permanent visa (subclass 190) for the year 2012-2013 considering the fact that they already sponsored me for Temporary visa (subclass 475) for the year 2011-2012? 2. Is there any restriction/bad-affect at DIAC for lodging multiple visa for same applicant? Although the applications are for DIFFERENT program year and for different category i.e. temporary 475 and permanent 190? If somebody comes forward, will be helpful for me.

  22. Thank u all guys who replied on this post....
  23. Hi Huythai, Thanks for your reply. By the way, I received my ACS letter on June 13.
