    Hi I have just been granted my permanent residency and will be moving to a new job in NSW. I am presently in Victoria. Can anyone please advise me of the process I need to undertake to transfer my license over to a NSW one. Do I need to get any confirmation from the DVLA in the UK re my existing licence? Thanks for your help

    There are very few jobs for Intellectual disability nurses here - most work in mental health. North West Mental Health in Melbourne does employ learning disability nurses and Justice Health in Sydney. There is an abundance of jobs for disability trained nurses in Queensland though.

    <p><p>I arrived in Melbourne in October and it took me 8 weeks to find a rental. It is grossly over priced here if you are looking at the inner suburbs and real estate only have property inspections at certain times so when you turn up everyone is there. I stayed in various budget hotels and also used the air b n b website. Good luck with your search but please be prepared to come across absolute dumps when you do do the property inspection. They aren't as ahead in their interiors as what the Uk is. Cheers</p></p>

    <p>I don't have a date to start, the company ( Nort West mental health) said they will put me in post when my visa comes through, so I will book my flight once that happens. Looks like it will be early next year.</p>
