I am in the process of applying for the 870 visa. Sponsorship has already just been approved. Can I know if I have to wait for immigration to ask for the police clearance? I only need to do PC from Singapore and the authorities here told me that I need to produce a letter of request. I am not in a rush but I have to submit my application within 6 months. Any ideas anyone?

Hi.. hope someone can help me. I am currently offshore and waiting for 143 visa (applied in July 2017). Once borders are opened I was thinking of applying for a 3 yr 870 visa. So if I am still not yet granted the 143 visa at the end of 3 years, will I be able automatically on the bridging A as the 143 is still pending or do I have to apply again for another 870 by going offshore?

Finally things are moving! Congratulations to all who have been granted visas and got requests to do medicals etc. Waiting for the first year 2016 applicant now!

Hi I have submitted my 143 parent visa on 23 June 2017 via courier and it reached Perth Parent Visa Processing Dept on 28 June 2017. I am just a little anxious that they still have not deducted the application fees from my credit card. Does anyone has any idea on how long it usually takes please. I have applied to ANMAC and they have asked me my clinical hours practice as it is not stated anywhere on my diploma transcript. Do you know how to go about this please? Thanks.

Hi.. I am a nurse from singapore and would like to apply for Queensland State Sponsorship and I have 55 points currently. Need the extra 5 points thru sponsorship to make it 60 points. Just got my IELTS results with total score of 7.5 (8, 8, 7.5, 7.5) and am gonna apply to ANMAC for skills assessment next week. After positive skills assessment I will apply for QLD state-sponsorship and EOI concurrently. And lodge visa thereafter. Can anyone tell me when I should apply to AHPRA for registration please? Do I need to have my registration with AHPRA before I apply for sponsorship? Best regards & Thanks

Hi... Need some help on Contributory Parent Visa. My son is an australian PR. He was living and working in Adelaide for 1 and a half years but had to leave to Australia to accompany his wife to work in Vietnam for a year. He is currently back in Australia and is working and living in Brisbane. So in total, he has lived and worked in Australia for 2 years. Do I qualify to apply for the parent visa now? I meet all the other criteria but am unsure of this "A sponsoring child is usually considered to be “settled” in Australia if s/he is has lived lawfully in Australia for at least 2 years." Thank-you.
