I went travelling at 31 , got a tax rebate , few quid in the bank . Went to the travel agents then drove to Peterborough and got my passport while I waited and 4 days later the start of a round the world trip . Best time of my life , met amazing people of all ages and nationalities . One woman of 65 found a RTW on her own , she went on all the hostel trips and everyone loved her ! Nice to experience travelling with someone special but on your own you can go where and do exactly what you like when you want and it forces you to mix more .

Apart from the biggest ghetto in the world , child slave labour , horrific work place health and safety , people sh7tting in parks , rats the size of dogs , contaminated water supplies to the poor , irregular power supply , human remains in the rivers , mutilated child beggars . But definitely more vibrant than Birmingham ! As beautiful and modern as Perth was my trip to joondalup shopping centre and seeing the windows of cars covered in man utd , Liverpool and other soccer teams , soccer personalised number plates and so many soccer shirts left me with the feeling I didn't fit in so I effed off to Queensland !

I watched it and thought it was a trailer for an idiot abroad .

Had plenty of weekends away in the lake district and Wales and a couple of 5 dayers in Scotland , walking , climbing. , kayaking and canoeing . Beautiful even in the snow !

If the uk had the weather , but still managed to maintain the scenery I'd still live there . Holidays for me though are more like travelling , experiencing new places, cultures and history .

Peru for inca trail , Ethiopia for the gorillas in mountain forest, rio for festival and stratford for the weather :-)

I'm in a third floor apartment and the only ants we get are almost microscopic , only on the work top if there are crumbs or sugar left . I've not really checked my weatabix but bear grills eats tons of grubs and he's ok !

I was going to post this but you beat me to it ! The black ants are important on the outside to eat the White ants . I've done enough termite repairs to appreciate black ants now . And for those that don't think theyve got cockroaches a bit of demolition would turn your stomach , inches of cock roach sh7t piled up on the noggins and the little buggers running every where ! Fire ants are the worse , they jump from the ground straight onto your leg above your boots , blood thirsty little critters !
