Aarrrrggggghhhhhh, just checked my emails and sat their is a letter of my agent, so in a stress to open it and read the contents of it the whole table full of engineers brews have just ended up in their laps ( quickest they have moved all weekend) is it here has it been granted. No just my agent has finally done what I have been asking him to do for the last 3 weeks and that's send a letter to my lovely co to see if he needs any more information. My god my heart stopped. I'm now being laughed at silly bar stewards they will be the ones that suffer if I don't get this visa. So please mr co for my sanity please have a sneek peek and say yay or nay xxx:wacko::arghh::arghh::wacko::swoon::biglaugh:

I have been married 14 years now been together 20 years and we split up after 7 years of marriage for a short time but we sorted out our differences and we get on better than we ever did when we first met :biggrin: Have you planned to do anything for your anniversary :cute:

11 years and never a cross word lol, mr case office wasn't for celebrating with us though. Bring on Monday. I'm working all weekend so no time to think about things.

Thanks you so much for this post:hug::hug:, we were having this exact problem, the med center could not find us on the system and thought we were going to have to do the postal way! but i have just phoned the clinic after a read this and they can now find us...yes you have to access the forms on your application to release it:biglaugh::biglaugh:

I phoned the clinic yesterday just to check all was well (which it was) and the lovely lady who answered said that she had just finished doing ours. Based on my timelines, Im guessing yours will be done today or tomorrow.

 

My xrays said received first on Tuesday, then today it said 'Health requirements finalised' which was the rest of them. Nothing on my checklist says met yet though I share the same CO as MandyMark and theirs never said met even after they were granted so I think it depends on the CO.

 

I would drop the clinic a call on Monday if you havent heard anything.

I also share the same CO and all my docs still say required :wacko:

All our meds and police checks have been met for a month now and still waiting for the grant.:wideeyed:

Fingers crossed though I'm lokking at monday or tuesday foe some news if not my visa agent is gonna get a rocket up their bottom and be made to some work. infact I might phone him now.

Even a bmi over 40 if you have no health problems you will be fine their is a guy on poms called Bensdad he has started a fab thread on this subject.

Oh Mandy, (lol) Dont worry I am still going for the 31st or 1st 2nd so I'm ok. I have to admit when I saw your grant the green eyed monster said I better have mine but then I know I dont think it has even been looked at yet as still no change and no contact so its alright. I'm happy to be honest that now I know some sort of contact is going to be very soon:shocked: Lets hope its good news. Tania will be waiting by that phone as well as her's must be coming any day. I've go a full day of gymnastics today (not me doing it) so that will take thoughts of visa's.

Just checked, ours just says 'Evidence of Specific Work Experience' - received & next line down says 'Evidence of work experience' - received. This hasnt changed since 13/05/2009 though. Looks like our CO might not change anything to 'Met' til he's got everything ready.

I've just read that with one eye closed:unsure: But happy that we are both the same. It can't be too long now. Monday Tuesday are gonna be a nightmare next week as I'm on nights so i'm gonna be nippin to my locker every 5 mins to check my phone. so if anything breaks down their might be a shortage of fingers & maryland cookies at Christmas :embarrassed: but what the hell my visa is more important. As I keep telling my boss their only biscuits.:wacko:

On work an specific work exp on your online app does it say checking required or met? I think checks will only be done if doesn't say met xx

Nothing says met on mine, this bit is winding me up first page all meds finalised go to check docs and nothing.:wacko:.

Help hold on......... I don't fancy them phoning the morons that I work for. 3 years i've kept this quite. oh well what will be will be, suppose they are gonna find out one day it might as well come from the horses mouth. Anyone taking any pets? You have idea of costs and quarantine arrangements?

We have a black Lab Daisy and a Ginger tom called Mia, they are loved so much. we are going to have to leave them behind, but we are quite lucky that my auntie has a small holding and loves animals. We couldn't split these two up as they are in love they sleep together go out for walks together, they are a sight to be seen.

This is a very hard decision and has not been taken lightly but the fact that we are not going to get any cash out of the sale of the house means times are hard. The money that we would have used for the Animals will have to buy us a car

I am driving my kids crazy with Christmas as my daughter wants a thick jumper and I am saying no because she won't need it in Aus and every time the kids pick something I always comment and say that we can't ship it or its not suitable...... its hard, but will make it up to them next Christmas

Seems strange this might be our last cold Christmas, last time of picking a tree. next year will be so strange. I love not unlocking the doors Christmas day and it being just us, next year we will be fighting to get our towels on the beach first, and putting on sunscreen.:cool:

God this waiting room is boring I checked online 5 times last night even though I know my case officer is only gonna look at my app on 30th, but you never know. I'm gonna check every morning this week as well. If nothing happens Mon / Tues next week I'm not gonna be worth knowning I'm on night shift them nights so its gonna be constant checking. Just wanna know now so we can start living. We are looking at christmas items for the kids and saying to them we will see what it costs in Aus cos if its cheaper their, or i'm not getting that cos its to big to ship over.

We are not sure now if we are even gonna ship our stuff or sell it and just take a few tea chests of stuff.

Just want to knoe so we can make plans as the waiting is bugging the life out of me now.

It’s that time of week when the Case officers will be tucked up in bed waiting for that alarm clock to make that nasty noise which means that the weekend is over and it’s time to head off to their desks and process some of them their visas.

So lets hope that the cleaner has not hovered up that important piece of paper, or the maintenance man used my file to write the details of the faulty part in the aircon unit. They seem now to have got some momentum going and fingers crossed this speed will continue.

This week i found a penny in the loading area at work and passed it on to the first person that I saw, bless him he now passes me with caution (thinks I’m loopy) and last night at work there was no one in the building other than the fix it fairies and I found another 20p on the floor which is in my back pocket.

So I have now passed on a penny, so my luck will never end, I’ve covered the other angle with all day long you’ll have good luck by keeping the 20p and I have a sticky green alien stuck to the wall in my lounge which the kids even tell their friend to leave it alone as I go neurotic if any one just looks at it funny.

I have even gone outside on a clear night and waited for a shooting star.

I better not see any magpies this week cos that will undo everything

LOL Please Mr case officer grant me a visa so I can become normal again.
