  1. A definate great start to the week. :wink:

    Has anyone heard of people not being granted a visa and the reasons why??

    :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

    Please I am so stressed at being asked to provide more details I think that i will be refused.

    AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  2. i just got a panic on reading your post when you said the police checks will land on your agents mat. By this did you mean that you have put his address as the forwarding one? :unsure:

    I hope you say yes or I am thinking I have done something wrong!! Mine will have to come here as my agent is in Aus.

    Yes I put theirs as the forwarding address saves me the cost of recorded delivery. Don't panic, thats my job.:swoon: was thinking of going to boots to get my blood pressure checked to see if it is ok before the medical. not sure what I would do if it was high, I would just panic a bit more. LOL:goofy:

    It is driving me crazy

  3. Well the payment has come out of my bank account today for my Police checks so fingers crossed they should land at my agents in a day or so. Fingers crossed. 1 less thing down :policeman:.

    Medicals in a week so bye bye another £650 but I don't mind / it will be worth it once V day arrives. Toes crossed.:wacko:

  4. I have butterflies for us all. It is so exciting. Let's hope the DIAC keep this up and another 6 get a CO next week.

    PS - Anyone moving or planning to move to Adelaide?

    We are going to QLD Goldcoast maybe if I get a job offer.

  5. Tania Are you going to Manchester for your meds see if you can book the 19th sept so we can sit their like giggling girls.

    All you with no requests will have a visa grant as soon as meds are sorted hope my docs are ok, wish CO would update online progress so we can see what else is still required. I am cross at my agent that this was not picked up on lodgement, that is why I used an agent. I could have put together a half ready application. I am megga stressing now (but that is me think I have OCD) I need to check, check, and double check things. hate not knowing.

  6. OMG OMG OMG

    I cant stop shaking we have a CO :jiggy::jiggy::jiggy:and I am at work but really shocked excited and all the rest I haven't been able to tell my husband as he is at work, we have been asigned team 4:biglaugh::wacko::biglaugh:

    Tania

    Congratulations on going pink

    :jiggy::jiggy::jiggy:

  7. OMG I received an email this morning from a job I saw on seek, as it was direct through the company I did not apply for the position but sent a letter of interest. This is the response I have received back this morning.:shocked:

    Hello Anne,

    thank you for you resume and email.

    We were very impressed with your experience and would be more than happy to have you along for an interview once you have settled here in Australia.

    We are on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

    We have decided to go with an agency engineer until early next year, so will re open our full time position then. This may work in well with your situation.

    Here is a more detailed look at the position.

    So guys keep looking on seek and even though we don’t have the golden ticket yet there is no reason why we can’t send C.V’s out this letter has just blown me away I am gonna try and keep in touch with the company over the next few months and then if anything goes west with the visa process (i love U Diac) we might just be able to gain sponsorship. :jiggy::jiggy::hug::hug::notworthy:

  8. TBH I can't remember when it was taken off the list. I used to be on PIO daily in 2009 but everything changed for us overnight on 23 September 2009 when DIAC, out of the blue, announced that our visa (and loads of others) that hadn't been finalised at that point were unlikely to be processed before the end of 2012. We were absolutely gutted at the time, had our medicals booked for the following week so cancelled them. We even had flights booked for the following February as my OH was leaving the RAF so we planned to move out then. It was a gamble then, but the flights only cost the price of a normal single, so we thought it would be worth it. Since then we've moved to a different County, bought a house, kids are now both in High School & we've started to settle.........til DIAC suddenly got in touch again last week!!

    Have you booked your meds?

  9. Sence of humor :jiggy:my other half took my passport and Trn number off me the other night cos he was sick of me being on the laptop :arghh:checking progress, PIO, and emails.:arghh: so I went on immi website and proceeded to log on to my visa app as I now know both numbers off the top of my head.:wacko: He looked at me and said why do you get ya passport everytime if you know the number.:wideeyed: Cos that is the process everything is done in a special way otherwise bad things may happen.:eek::shocked::v_SPIN:

    Yes I am going insane:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

  10. Blimey 5 years :( Bank statements included??

    Why do they want so much?

    Dont you think our agents should have advised us of this?

    Think its to stop fraud:policeman: dodgy documents and all that. if I send bank statements im not gonna let them have all the info off them im gonna black out what i dont think they need to see. just leaving proof of income and such:goofy:.

    :swoon: . I would just get as much as you can to hand and not worry about it. if your CO doesn't ask then result.

  11. Do you have an agent? or did you apply by yourself?

    you can look up if the company existed on The Companys House website

    http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/

    I think 90% of people do not keep things, me being one of them. Jeez im dreading getting a CO now lol. How far back do you have to go?

    I am using an agent, I got the info i needed from the website printed it off and turned it in to pdf for the agent to upload.

    As for evidence you have to go back 5 years from your date of lodgement so for me it it's going back to 2004:goofy: we moved house 5 years ago (to the day as my mortgage rate has just ended) and we binned loads of stuff cos we moved in to a dorma bungalow so we have very little loft space.

  12. I phoned the tax office the other day and you have to talk to the company that you worked for I explained that the company no longer existed so they did look throught their records only to find that the company did not file tax for the period requested. I have had to go to company house to get proof that this company existed. God if i'd have known all this a few years ago I would have kept everything.

  13. Hi guys

    It's official we have a CO!! :jiggy:

    They have asked for payslips and bank statements and tax details going back some years so will have to see if I even have these!!

    They are again from Team 2.

    Good luck for the rest of the week everyone!!!

    Congratulations,:jiggy::jiggy:

    We to have to provide further information. including p60's but the company went in to liquidation and did not even bother to submit and tax details for that year.:sad:

    Bank statements :wideeyed:I dont have anything like this. I distroy everything oh my god. I feel like i'm gonna fail on paperwork side of things, I am so worried. :swoon:

  14. I think it was a comment to me and I don't spread rumors :sad:, it was a statement that I made about a conversation that I had with an agent I spoke to last week about when I would expect to get a CO and the reply I got was that the agent had been speaking to DIAC and that they expect to cleared cat 4 by Christmas and start cat 5 so it is not a fact and I never said it was a fact its just information that I got of an agent that I am posting on this thread :biggrin:

    If we had to stop :policeman: posting information that are agents and DIAC are telling us then what would be the point of this thread, I hope no one takes my comment the wrong way

    Thanks Tania

    Your doing a fine job, we need all the help and infomation we can get that is why we use this forum. if we only want fact then the address is www.immi.gov.au.

    come on lets get back to the point of the thread and that is to help each other through this hard, life changing experience.

    Heads up everyone we will get through this together.:wubclub::wubclub:

  15. OMG I have just checked my online status and it says application being processed further as of yesterday and that they have sent an e-mail , which will have gone to my agent!! It's going to be a long night to speak to my agent tomorrow!!!

    Congrats to you Things are moving very quickly now.:jiggy:

  18. How is all your evidence going is your CO happy with what you have sent and have you booked your medicals yet.

    Tania:jiggy:

    Hi Tania and all,

    My medicals are booked for the 19th of September ans we sent the police checks off on Thursday (uk police checks are taking around 10 days to process)

    I'm not sure about the evidence I need to get intouch with agent to find out might just drop him an email now.

    I am more worried now I have a CO than while waiting to be allocated.

    :arghh::arghh::arghh:

  19. Well, it is turning out to be a busy week for team 2..................we also have now got a Case Officer!!!

    We've been trying to check our online application for the past couple of days but kept getting an error msg- we've always been able to access it using OH's old passport number even though he changed it at the end of 2009. Anyway, it seems that our application has now been updated with his new passport details so we can log on again. Our Case Officer sent an email on 30 August requesting meds & police checks (but this had gone to an email address which we no longer use.....its been so long since we applied that I'd forgotten which email address we'd used!).

    Now I'm definitely not going to sleep much tonight - I've had a job interview today, got another tomorrow and now find out that we have a CO!!!!!

    Good luck to everyone else - looks like things are finally moving! Mandy x

    Congratulations :goofy::goofy::goofy::jiggy::jiggy::arghh:
