  1. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Hahahaha

Should really say something to mark this special 4000 post.

    What could I say?

    Hmmmmm

    Ah I know.

    Im moving to Australia :jiggy::jiggy::jiggy:

Sorry to put a dampener on the 4000 post celebrations:shocked: but technically Traxfm has got the award as #00001 is the thread hence #00002 is the first post so #04001 is the 4000 post.:GEEK:

Not trying to be pedantic, finicky or hair splitting. You know me I never procrastinate about absolutely nothing. Sorry slipped in to interview mode their.:goofy:

:wubclub:Happy 4000 post to all :wubclub::jiggy::notworthy: My cyber Family & Friends.

  2. Well this gibbering jelly head:goofy: must have made a good impression during my first interview as I have been put forward for a 2nd on Tuesday with the “Big boss” :GEEK:so I have a dilemma now do i maintain the jelly head style that I turned the first interview in to or do I try a composed and organised approach for the second :wideeyed: Oh no. The email said that the interview will last for approx 1 hour oh boy :wub:at least I can have a load of post it notes and the laptop to hand to answer any awkward questions.:swoon: I’m not complaining though. A job would be fantastic. :jiggy::notworthy::hug:

  3. So I'm out of one waiting room straight into another (house selling) oh joy, although hopefully I wont be in it for long as we have sold but are waiting on a few things from the buyers end, touch wood (and I just did) there are no hiccups. Still don't think it's sunk in we actually have our visas granted, my parents got really upset but they know it's for the best.

Oh yeah, reason I came on.... Once out of visa waiting room & out of house selling waiting room, does that take us to the departure lounge? ;)

Lol the departure lounge. I've just done a telephone interview omg what a plonker. Proper jelly head. I had the email last week and was expecting a call this week some time, but as I'm on days I thought I would get in bed, ring ring we only have one phone now and that is in the lounge so mad dash to pick it up. Huffing and puffing I answered like a giggling school kid. Lucky I printed a cv off. I so hope she has not taped the call as I was well flustered. Oh well what will be will be.

  4. Congratulation, What do you do for a job (if im not being too nosey:embarrassed:) my hubby has started applying for work in oz and we had this discussion what we would do if he actually got offered a job n we had not sold the house:eek:.. I guess it depends how good the job turns out to be and if the $$$ is any good. I very much doubt they would expect you to start before Xmas anyway as most people have to give work notice of leave. GO FOR IT, you can always say no.... GOOD LUCK :notworthy:

Hi I'm a maintenance fitter, in an FMCG enviroment making cookies and stuff like cadburys fingers and snack bars.

I have been sending my C.V out sorry Resume for a few weeks now and this week have had 2 responses one was a no thanks and this today. I also have another company who want to interview but they will only do it once I land. sounds like they might have been bitten before.

  5. :shocked:OMG I have a telephone interview with a company that I have applied for a job with.:jiggy: All of you that know me will know what that means, ARRRRRGGGGHHHH major panic:wacko:, what do I do:swoon:. Should I have been applying for jobs so early, do I, if offered move out there and leave hubby and kiddies at home to sell the house (I’am not being apart for Christmas)

This is so exciting as I thought I might not get looked at being a newbie Sheila looking for a blokes job.

    :arghh:Arrrrggggghhhhhh.:arghh:

In life only 2 things happen in the correct order.

  6. Thanks guys the visa stamp cost us about £11 in postage the stamp is FREE Unless you include the cost of the visa in that then it is expensive. "Good o" for the house, we need to start decking out the new waiting to sell room. I bet we are in hear a bit longer than a few weeks. GGGRRRRRR. Fingers crossed everyone.

  7. Wish you better Tania.

It is getting a little lonely in the waiting room/torture chamberso I thought I would play out some music in here and for those waiting for COs:

    Here's a little song i wrote,

you might want to sing it note for note,

    don't worry, be happy

in every life we have some trouble,

when you worry you make it double

    don't worry, be happy

    dont worry be happy now

    dont worry be happy

    dont worry be happy

    dont worry be happy

    dont worry be happy

    :tongue::wacko::goofy::twitcy:

Keep going Hun the best things come to them that wait, and wait, .........and wait some more..

  8. My laptop is officially dead... After spending over two hours trying to fix a shredded cable and faulty internet conection and multiple bugs, i surrendered and decided to check my status on my phone....i would like to see the "applicant approved" bigger!!!! Tania, turn me purple please!!! Anlopa, I wont be needing that dino after all, but i suspect is good luck to threaten it to launch it to the sea, please share it to waitingtogo.

Waitingtogotooz! Hun, you are next!! I can feel it!

Congratulations who wants dino the dinosaur next, waitingtogo I think you should have it.

  9. Still in the waiting room. My second monday here, hopefully the last one? Dunno why it is taking so long for my CO to update my status, I woulf like to know what is going on with my file....i desperately wanna quit my job, run to the nearest beach and borrow anlopa's dinosaur and swim all the way to australia....

The nearest beach to launch the dinosaur would be Blackpool, But be warned the North sea is cool this time of the year. Hang on in their I was in the waiting room for 9 weeks and Tania was in their for 8 so don't panic. It will come. Phone Diac they are good and put my mind at rest the two times I called.

    Good Luck

  10. Is it a weird feeling putting your house on the market? We have estate agents coming round tomorrow to value.

A chill passed over me and for a split second and I thought what the hell are we doing, :swoon:then the resident village gossip p:witch-irritated:assed by and tapped on my window, where the curtain had just been parted from me looking to see what the noise was about. As she peered in asking me “have you got your ticket now is this why your house is on the market” Oh hell yes!!:jiggy: you gossip, go spread the word quicker than the information super highway.

Just hope it is not a slow and pain filled sale.

  11. My passport runs out next June so will need to get it renewed before we go for our reccie in Aug and then will have to tell the DIAC so they can update their records :arghh: so I think I might get the stamp in once I renew it.

Does anyone know what happens if your passport is due or runs out while you are living in Oz? Can you just renew it in the sme way that you do here? Just cos my daughters only 6 and she just gets 5 year passports at the mo. :goofy:

Mine runs out in jan 2013 just gonna let it. Run out and renew if I have too
