<p>Ooh it covered allsorts... it was across about 3 pages Cal. It covered everything that you should take into consideration when relocating, investigating areas to live, job hunting, understanding rules of the road...everything lol! It was really informative!</p>

<p>Well we will be working and she will be at nursery... so we've got some friends coming over from Oldham and St Helens and we are off out for lunch and then back here after. Both families have a 3 year old too and also an 8 year old, so that's Abigail happy too haha! Going to the local Chinese Restaurant for the all you can eat buffet.... nom nom.. was hoping the weather might be nice, so the little ones could play in the garden later...doubt that WILL be happening... tis miserable and grey and very very wet outside!</p>

<p>Been awake since 5.30 Cath!!! Am knackered now lol! Got a lovely hacking cough and my chest feels raw.... think that's what woke me...oh and a little 2 year old who was wide awake too!!!! <p>Ah thanks Cath..... have just read that and followed a link off there.....very interesting reading.... pretty much what I thought was going to happen.... just gotta sit back and wait for SS now then I guess!!! Just had a look at my calendar and if the 16 weeks is anything to go by then 22nd November is the date we are looking forward to lol</p>

<p>Jealous? Us? OOOOH NOoooooooo...I find it such a refreshing change to get up on a Saturday morning with my two kids to grey skys, fog and RAIN RAIN RAIN....'cos to be fair we haven't had much rain since...ohh erm....last night....</p>

<p>I am sick of bloody rain....don't know when you made the move but seriously I was talking to some colleagues about this yesterday and we worked out we have had only about 11 really lovely hot days since April and its been grey and rainy otherwise.</p>

<p>We are planning to move to Newcastle NSW....hubby is a welder and there seems to be good job opportunities for him there. I am thinking of retraining when I get there...been "doing" finance and accounts too long...and fancy a change.</p>

<p>We are in Pellon...both work in Halifax/West Vale respectively. Can't wait to leave the sunny weather and scratty town centre behind!!!lol</p>

<p>Just saw a thread by you (cost of shopping) and I see you are from the poxy town of Halifax!!! rahhhh me too!!! What part of the delectable Hx were you from? How are you settling in Oz?</p>

<p>We are hoping to head to Newcastle, NSW. We are just preparing hubbies TRA stuff with the agent, His trade is on the MODL so hopefully won't have too many problems there.</p>

<p>It would be good to meet up like you said....my eldest is nearly 7 and my baby is 16 months..... perhaps...if it ever stops raining we can take them to the park lol</p>

<p>What part of Hx are you in? We (that is; Me Rachel (37), hubby Martin (36) and our two girls Abby (6) and Cass (15 months) live in Pellon. We are just getting the house tidied up a bit to put it on the market. Not that we have even put our application in yet......but we are hedging our bets and taking a chance......</p>
