I got excited too, we lodged 3rd September, ours changed from 'requested' to 'received' and dates next to the documents said 22.12.2014, so I'm hoping we are not waiting much longer......

Hi all, we have just logged into our Immi account, (didn't realise we could as we used an agent) who is useless to say the least, and it says 'In Progress' does this mean we have a case officer? We submitted visa 3rd September. Thanks

We moved over to oz in jan, & only just got round to setting up our English TV, which we shipped over. we have the 'set top box' and can receive all the channels & sound, but no colour, only black & white. Any ideas on what to do, been through the menu, picture is perfect, but only receiving black & white .:err:

Hi Helen, We are in Mudgeeraba, (near Robina) & been here since Jan. So far loving, but still miss the UK lol. My eldst attends Mudgeeraba State School & loves it, settled so well (better than she did at her school in uk lol) We came over in November for a reccie (hubby did a mth trial for his employer) so I came for the last 2 weeks to research the schools, areas to lo live etc. We looked at a lot of schools & a few you had to be within the catchment area, & as we didn't know where we would settle, (stayed with friends in Robina for 3 weeks when we arrived) couldn't put her name down, but some we could. We are still finding our feet, but enjoying what oz has to offer. When do you arrive on the G.C? xx

Hi everyone, We are from Skipton, & moved to the Gold Coast in Jan this year. My husband & girls settled so well (age 6 & 3) but I suffered some real down days & was so tempted to return home, its my husbands dream to come here, I left all my friends & family & a job I loved (they have kept it open for me in th hope I return) lol. Fast forward 6 months, & im doing a lot better, still have down days, but my mum is coming out in sept for 6 weeks to see us all (excited.com) lol. And we are hoping to gp back at some point next year so I can see all my friends lol - and to clarify we have made the right decision x
