<p>yeah he could do ...hes actually a loader operator ...he was over here the first year we came on a whmv and worked for a local company ...he has to go and see them when he comes over in jan on holiday x</p>

<p>yeah ano what u mean ...we spoke to the immigration agent who dealt with us (on thurs) ...as we are trying to get my son over .....he said that diggers drivers etc will not be gettin added to the list but summit will be put in place to allow the big companies to sponsor ....i presume he meant the emc thing ...or is it ema ....lol cant remember ....anyway he reckons it will only be temporary visas and because it aint on the skills list u wouldnt qualify for pr ......to be honest i dont think one hand knows what the other is doing ....they need the bloody drivers more than they need hairdressers etc ....just doesnt make sense ....aaarrrggghhh ......lol x</p>

<p>oh yeah i remember u saying that [duh] ...my o/h didnt need the qual as we came in on a different route that unfortunatley isnt available anymore...most digger drivers i know dont have quals as they learned the job as they went along .....x</p>

<p>hey paulswin ....not sure they have much call for floor layers where my o/h works ...probs better looking to companies that are building the construction camps eg ...gorgon /pluto projects ....as i said to thedenster ....best bet is to go through a recruiting agency ....they can tell u where all the work is ...cheers julie</p>

<p>helloo the way i got in was as a drainer as its on the skills list / if your oh has worked on rail he might want to contact john holland there a company here that do a lot of rail work if /not he might have to look at the drainer part of things its the nearest thing to plant operator on the skills list</p>

<p>hey adam ....keily asked me to send u a message regarding accomodation that he has found for u ...it is a 3 bedroomed house with a spa ...fully furnished in wilson wa 6107[google] ...it belongs to a guy keily is currently working for who is heading up north about the same time u arrive ...he is asking $400 a week which is really good for a furnished place ....it is in a good area and close to everything ....if u are interested let me know and i will let keily know ...hope u had a good new year x</p>

<p>hey adam hope u had a good christmas ...with regards to ur question ...im not sure how u would go about sponsorship as digger driver is not on the skills list ...drainer is but unless u actually have qualifications and paperwork to say ur are then u wont get sponsored on that either ...unless ur partner is qualified in summit on the list then u might struggle to be able to stay after ur 2 yr visa expires ...things have really tightened up in the couple of years and although digger drivers are in high demand in wa they wont add them to the skills list x</p>

<p>yeah hes finding it no too bad ....working nights at the mo .....money excellent ...but its only gona be short term til we get some funds behind us ....and then he will go back to workin locally .... x</p>

<p>ahh right lol ...yeah he did mention u a while ago right enough ....u say u have applied for holiday visas >>> is that a working holiday visa ?? ...im presuming its not just a holiday visa lol .....yeah work is a plenty over here ...keily is away working at the mo on a 2:1 roster up north ,,,,but im sure he could get u a start locally ...there are plenty of back packers in perth ....not quite sure where we will be living [thinking of moving down south] otherwise i could offer u a room for a couple of weeks .....but if we can help in any other way give us a shout ...cheers julie x</p>

<p>you will love margaret river ..we were down there 2 weeks ago ..its braw ...our daughter was out and went back home end of jan ...as she was missin her friends ...but she is comin back hopefully october ...as she says shes not really missin much ...it is defo a wrench when ur family is split ....if she wasnt comin back we were seriously thinkin about goin back ourselves </p>
