  1. To any PMV 300 applicants. It does come through eventually. I married my beautiful bride yesterday. Keep thinking positive! It does happen! Good luck to you all.
  2. I applied in March. Flew to Oz on a tourist visa in July. The 3 months repeat one. Flew to Fiji in October for 5 days to satisfy that. Got my depart to grant notice in November and flew to NZ for 1 day. At no point was I asked about financial circumstances. Good luck.
  3. Great. Glad it's all good. I was terrified of getting it wrong myself. Lol.
  4. Dont you only have 28 days from the depart notice? I presume you know what your doing but thought I'd point it out.
  5. I would just like to thank Steve at concept Australia Manchester. He made the whole process so much easier and was very efficient. I can't recommend there services any higher. Even if you know what your doing its a small price to pay for peace of mind. I owe the fella a beer or two!
  6. PMV 300 granted 24-11-15. Co VF. Can't wait till I'm back in Australia on Saturday to celebrate with the future missus. Ta everyone.
  7. I have been in Australia since July on a tourist visa. Had to fly out to Fiji after 3 months to satisfy tourist visa requirements. No problems flying back in except for a couple of questions at the airport. Just be honest. I fly out tomorrow for my actual visa to be granted. So yes it can be done and it isn't a real problem or even that unusual. Read the forum for a while and you'll see just how many people do it. Lol. Good luck with it all.
  8. Notification to depart for grant received through the night. 8 months 2 days. Perfect as the weddings in a month. Got a future missus dancing round the kitchen. Lol. Looks like another trip to Fiji next week for the actual grant. Thanks to everyone for they're help over the last few months.
  9. My agent assured me that the date we chose would be fine. And if not the change to a spouse visa app would be simple. Going to get him to nudge the CO in a couple of weeks then decide what to do by there response. Having the ceremony without the legalities is also an option. We'll decide which route to go by whatever response we get.
  10. You have to set the date as part of the application. Everything has to be in place. And there's no way the date is moving. If the grant hasn't come through by then we get married and change the application to a spouse visa.
  11. It is 10-14 months. The OH got excited and cut it very fine. Just crossing our fingers and gonna give the CO a nudge to remind them about the date in a couple of weeks.
  12. I meant the wedding is taking place 9 months 3 days after my application. Sorry for not being clear. I'm not concerned about validating in time. I'm more concerned about the grant.
  13. Just to update my situation. Applied PMV300 16/3/15. Did medical and police check in June. Flew out to Oz in July. Got back from my 3 monthly necessary trip last week. Fiji was great and cheap too! I'd recommend the mud baths if anyone else is going this route. Immigration pulled me to one side coming back in but was a quick chat and no issues when I explained the situation. Wedding plans are going great and we're just hoping the grant comes through before it. It's gonna be a push as it has to be inside 9 months 3 days. Lol. Is that cutting it fine? Good luck to everyone else.
  14. Younger generation!! You've just become my new best friend!! As long as 40 really is the new 30 maybe!! Thanks for the good wishes. Hope everything goes well for you too.
  15. And just to answer Wan2go. I found it much easier to just sell or give away everything. It's all just material stuff anyway. I carried a hold-alll, a rucksack and a wallet!!
