stuart lawson
Hi can anyone tell me if you can be employer sponsored in any occupation, is there any limitations as to who can sponsor you ?
Guest
The job role has to be listed on the ENSOL (Employer Nominated Skilled Occupations List), so it couldn't be an unskilled role. The sponsor needs be an elligible company i.e. be employing Australian's already and have an ongoing training plan for them - amongst other things. Raul Senise
Hi can anyone tell me if you can be employer sponsored in any occupation, is there any limitations as to who can sponsor you ? The position must be in an occupation on the list for the 457 program. The sponsor must meet eligibility criteria to be approved a sponsor. ENSOL (Employer Nominated Skilled Occupations List) is not relevant to the 457 program. The 457 program has its own list of occupations.
Joebloggs
Here it is http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2011L00246 Of course both the employer and employee must meet the criteria for sponsorship. also the other restriction is you can only work in your main job, ie no moonlighting or part time second jobs.
