realitynotincluded Posted February 11, 2012 Share Posted February 11, 2012 Best advice ever given .... do not carry your Resume/CV on your flight with you.... if you are coming to look for work and are on a vistors visa.... if you get stopped at customs with any paperwork that might insinuate you are going to look for work you will be plonked straight back on the next available flight. calNgary Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 If you are here to research for your move ,dont get carried away doing all the touristy stuff, you will have a lifetime to do all that when youve moved here. With a little one we found it quite difficult as you need to do sooo much driving around,so regually stops at playgrounds etc were helpful and you see lots of them dotted around. kitesurfer Posted February 26, 2012 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Hi Danny, we have just returned from our reccie in Rockingham and loved the place,my advice would be to take as much baby food as you can including milk and calpol,customs will make you sample a small amount but its still worth it ,also double check you have got a bassenet/bulkhead seats booked and checkin on line 24 hours before you fly to confirm,loads of people missed out because they never checked in on line. good luck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
