Hanbo24
I found that great check list that someone wrote and stickied but that suggests that you apply for visas and put house on the market 12 months before move?? Do visas only take that long or is that just a point in the right direction?! I have had a stinking cold so bear with me if I'm being dim!!!!! :twitcy: Hannah x
Rubbidydub
Hi Hannah It all depends really on the type of visa you are applying for and the demand for your job, my visa only took 6 months from start to finish others have taken longer. Try giving a visa agency a call they will point you in the right direction and give you some indication as to how long the process will take. Candygirl
There's nothing better than learning from the people who have done it. When we first started our research, DIAC said 12-14 processing time for a 475 state sponsored, but we know of people that have had their 475 visas back within weeks. It all depends upon the country you are applying from and what your occupation is and which state you are going to. WA seems on the ball and offers quick turnarounds for sponsorship. JoandJon
Off shore partner visa (if you're not a high risk person) was taking about 4 months last year, not sure if it's the same now...
