thewaltons Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 you need to get your skills assessed first can take a while for that,unless you need ielts for your assessment,then you ask the state for sponsorship then on to the 176,i would sit the ielts while you wait for your skills assessment to come back. When you get your sponsorship you can then apply for your visa where you will need to provide evidence of your skills assessment and state sponsorship amongst other things. Hope this helps. rasserie Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 from where i am, i submitted my skills assesment first, then booked IELTS. waited a month, sat for IELTS, waited for 2 weeks. then the skills assesment and IELTS results came at the same time.
