Hi guys,

Does anyone know of and have the contact details of the best migration lawyers and also a list of prices. I am at the start of what might be a long road so any help to get me started would be so much appreciated,

Thanks so much.

Migration lawyers specialising in?

Custodial matters

Aged relatives

Criminal convictions

etc

You will need to be a little more specific for people to direct you accordingly.

Very few will offer prices until they understand the scope of the work to be undertaken.

My 4 year old daughter is Australian and lives there and I am not sure what path to go down. When I have researched I have seen anything from up to 20 year waiting lists and sums of money that are quite frankly ridiculous. I am so unsure where to go next and thought a lawyer could be the best idea.....

Thanks Pete for you advice :)

Contact a reputable agent such as "Go Matilda" , "Visa Bureau" both are respected agents on here who will give you a free chat to discuss your options, take a look around the site and you will find a few agents who are respected and will give you advice

You need a registered migration agent, not a lawyer. No lawyer or registered migration agent can change the regulations for you, but might be able to work you around them.

After the first ten years it is all downhill.

QH Partners based in Adelaide are excellent. Both legally qualified and helped me through the process. Explained all the options and no the system inside out. Could not speak more highly of Patrick - he can sort out any snags potentially. Is a registered migration agent. Always patient and understanding of clients worries, concerns through the process.
