Vanessa2163 Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 Take proof of your residency to medicare & your passport & you should be able to change your medicare to a regular card. Also, we have a child so we were able to claim Family tax benefit. Also, if you don't have an aussie driving license, you're supposed to get one within 3 months, you don't have to take a test or anything (so long as you have a valid UK license) but it's a bit expensive though (we haven't got ours yet, because we're naughty & I'm a bit peeved about the cost!!)
