Guest Hammer
Thought we'd start a new thread as had no replies to post we left on end of first Essex meets thread We'd love, my oh(soexcited!) and I to go to the next meet. We have missed every one so far. We live in Wickford and have our Visa and are moving to the Coloudra area next summer with our 4 Late teenage kids. PIO and the aus mag is the only contact with our future life at mo and having to wait another 11 months with 1 foot already in Oz is torture. Especially when read posts from all you lucky people that are already out there.:daydreaming: I know it will soon come around but it's sharing the excitement of it all with others. If a meet is getting arranged count us in.:v_SPIN:

Best thing to do is literally "surf the net". Im not sure what holiday parks are around but I`ll see what I can find. Talk to CalNGary too.......they might be able to help. They live in Jimboomba and might be able to help as they have details about Short term rentals.

Guest kdal
Hi All, We went to one a while ago that Mr & Mrs KP Nuts had organised at the half way house and it was so nice to meet some people from this site - So if there is another one and the date is set then let us know please. Baggo's we will miss you at the next one as you are already there in the land of Oz you lucky lucky people!!! And I've forgotten the User Name for the people that we met that came from Maldon, sorry guys but are you still on here??? It was easier in the Summer as lots of people had little children and they were able to run about outside, I suppose a venue for the Winter months could be a little tricky. Anyone got anywhere in mind?? There is a pub in Chelmsford that has an indoor play area so that the younger ones are not too bored but not sure what age it goes upto!! Guest Hammer
Hi All, It would be great if we could arrange a meet, don't know where! It's petty easy for us for places as all our kids are 16 and above. It may harder for people with younger kids. We are happy with any venue. As for a date if we could arrange something before xmas, maybe even making it an xmas drink or something, especially for us who are having our last christmas here. I don't who can make it before xmas? We are pretty much clear up to xmas and between xmas and new year (if that sounds a good time). Keith
