kirra
lawnmower and things like rakes and shovels have dirt and grass on them. Even if we clean them as best as we can, will they be OK? Or will they fall foul with quarantine? thanks
Guest
We are leaving all that sort of thing behind and will buy new as and when we need it once there. I just figured it was a real hassle to get that stuff super clean and didn't want to chance it. Might not even end up in a house with real grass so will see if we need a lawnmower as and when :cute:
JoandJon
Ditto here - we're going to spend enough time scrubbing OH's 6 burner gas BBQ and woodworking tools, can't face the lawnmower too! You might get away with handtools if you dip them in jeyes fluid etc..
fleabo
lawnmower and things like rakes and shovels have dirt and grass on them. Even if we clean them as best as we can, will they be OK? Or will they fall foul with quarantine? thanks We gifted our lawnmower to a needy friend. All our garden tools came with us - scrubbed down and some sprayed with paint. We also gifted our BBQ to another friend - parts had almost completely rusted through by virtue of 10 years of fine Scottish summers :biglaugh:
JoandJon
Lol, the decision on our BBQ will largely depend on how clean we can get it - it's only 2 years old so should be ok with any luck - not going to risk the rest of the shipment if we can't get it spotless though!
