nicolaj
Hi all, just trying to get a feel for places to live when we move out to Sydney. Just looking at the rental property in Castle Hill, which seems quite reasonable for a nice house, much more reasonable than in the inner suburbs. How feasable is it to commute back into the CBD by public transport? Driving wont be an option as we shall probably only have one car between us to begin with. g1xgp
I used to live in Castle Hill before moving out into the sticks. There is no train service from Castle Hill to the City. The excellent Hillsbus / Metrobus Service which goes via the M2 Motorway is very frequent. Journey tint approx 45 mins to 1 hour. Steve
Rudi
Castle Hill and the surrounding areas are nice family areas. As the other poster has mentioned there is no rail link from there, so you would be on the bus, but it's a specific commuter bus. Hope that helps Love Rudi x
Guest thefarrs
We were in serviced apartments in Castle Hill when we first arrived in Sydney and my husband commuted into the CBD. The bus journey would take him about 50 mins. We were looking to live in Castle Hill but just couldn't find a rental property that was right for us but it is a nice area.
