Due to rapid company growth we are seeking experienced Mechanical Project engineers to join a hardworking and friendly team based in South Australia.

 

The Role:

 

This is a challenging role where you will have to apply your technical and mechanical skills and knowledge. You will assist and oversee activities of the site supervisor, including work performance, public management and customer liaison You will also identify, capture and implement improvement opportunities to ensure continual improvement of project delivery.

 

Essential Criteria:

 

 

• Extensive project engineering experience in dedicated PE appointments ideally in a matrix environment.
  
• Detailed planning abilities with strong skills in management of project cost, schedule, scope, reporting, tracking and a history of delivering on time and within budget
  
• Extensive experience in coordination of construction site related activities
  
• Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects
  
• Demonstrated strong leadership, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
  
• A confident energetic style with a can do approach to complex problems and a desire to deliver innovative solutions
  
• Ability to initiate development and modifications to operational processes and practices
  
• Specific knowledge of environmental, OHS&E policies and procedures management and associated legislative requirements
  
• Extensive and successful record of experience in co-ordinating all site related activities
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes
  
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and support multiple team members pro-actively

The Candidate:

 

We are looking for people with a minimum of three years project engineering/management experience with tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.
