Guest Laura G
You can lodge application before you sit the test, however you will need evidence (Receipt) that you have booked the test when you lodge your visa application.
Raul Senise
Hi, when I need IELTS for 485 visa? Do I need results before I lodge application or can I attach results during bridging visa? The Immigration Regulations for this subclass state that English language proficiency is a time of lodgement criteria, meaning that you need IELTS when you lodge. However, due to a High Court Decision which went against the Department of Immigration, there is scope in Immigration Policy that IELTS can be provided after lodgement. Best to have IELTS when you lodge if possible.
Merxi
Is there any limit? Something like give them results from IELTS during 28 days after lodgement or it doesn't matter? I lodged my application in February and I did IELTS in May, but I didn't pass. So If I will go again for IELTS and attach my results 4 months after my lodgement it should be alright?
