Guest Merlin and Storm
Hi Has anyone stayed in a serviced apartment in Melbourne? If so, could anyone recommend somewhere either CBD or St Kilda area? we are going out mid October and need somewhere with good transport links etc for the first few weeks, preferably at a good price! Thanks Sam and Shaun

Guest The Jenners
Hiya, When we first arrived we stayed here Darling Towers Serviced Apartments Melbourne (the Caroline Street one) which did the job, clean and tidy etc. It is in South Yarra and excellent for transport (trams at the end of the road and trains from South Yarra into the City). Was also excellent for price as we only needed one bedroom so you can choose the 'get what you're given rate' which is a bit cheaper too - about $90 per night when I looked just now. Good luck - not long to go now, hey?
Guest dwaldron
For longer term stuff try Furnished Apartments & Extended Stay Accommodation - Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth & New Zealand otherwise we spent a bit of time at Quest on Redan Quest on Redan Serviced Apartments St Kilda which was small and a bit grotty but was cheap, well located and had free car parking. We were out house-hunting most of the time anyway, so it didn't matter.
