Cadas 66 Posted May 1, 2011 Hi, In the paperwork that came with my Visa Grant, there was reference to cheap migration flights via IOM Australia. Has anyone taken advantage of these and are they worth it. I did send off an enquiry but we are still undecided on exactly when we are going so they can´t quote. They did give terms and conditions, however, which seem a bit restrictive ie. credit cards not accepted, no stopovers, etc. ACT SS Application 30/7/10, ACT SS Approved 31/8/10, application lodged 29/11/10, CO appointed 27/1/11, Med & PCC Req 11/2/11, Meds finalised 6/3/11, PCC´s submitted 7/3/11, Wifes Meds finalized 29/3/11...VISA GRANTED 7/4/
calNgary 8,548 Posted May 1, 2011 Hi Quite a few people have priced up flights etc but from reading the forum there are no cheaper than booking direct with the airline. Cal x If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place... If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...
ali 16,178 Posted May 1, 2011 When we looked albeit 4 years ago they were only slightly cheaper but the times of the flights were terrible with long waits in between, so we ended up going with Singapore. I just want PIO to be a happy place where people are nice to each other and unicorns poop rainbows
