I see what you mean, disagree with them and like a pack of Morning Star sellers outside Islington tube station they are all over you... Gents, (Harpo, Flag, etc) Debating is simple....you put up YOUR opinion, I put up MINE. They are opinions.....not fact. I can put up facts to support my opinions on any of the items raised, if you can then feel free to do so. But this smear and insult of anyone who disagrees with you is playground stuff. If you start these threads have the guts to debate and not just resort to personal attacks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wow.... Do have anything else to do in life.....so many words in so little time.... But as I'm sat on my day off having a beer I've a bit of time to waste. What's wrong with saying shirt front Putin. He's appealing to an Australian audience who expect us to at least stand up for ourselves. You trots just bend over for Putin. What's wrong with coal. We need a safe, independent source of power. My preference is nuclear, but as commies you are ideologically opposed. The rest of the world is building clean coal power stations. We export coal. Remote communities... I'll tread carefully; imposing your view on how these communities should live and pouring Endless sums into it enforcement of that view is pointless. Government created these artificial communities and then attempted to force people to live in them by coercion or by offering free handouts. We could argue that ending the shame is as bad as continuing the shame. Doesn't fix the problem. Neither left nor right come out of this well. Where next,; wind farms are heavily subsidised and deliver bugger all. This is an ideological argument. Not an economic or practical one. Why should 'joe blow' spend more of his hard earned buying inefficient energy to save co2 when the commie economies you love are building dozens of coal fired power stations a year Co payment for elderly and sick, outright lie. And nothing like it has been implemented. And finally; people smuggling I feel physically sick when left wing bigots like you argue that over a thousand people dying trying to get here is morally better than the Libs stopping it happening. Come up with a solution that doesn't involve deaths of innocents and children and maybe I'll take you seriously. You are pushing political dogma over life.

That's brilliant.... You are insisting on having evidence to support someone's post Yet every post you make having a go at abbot is based entirely on your own opinion of here say or articles from left wing press.

Corrected it for you... It's so cute the way you deliberately mess up your grammar

Have you ever looked at what Attila did? His history, empire and culture. Not just the one line insult. Read and learn....then come back and have a chat about it. Thanks for the complement.

I've got used to it. Harpo et all start a thread having dug up something from the past and get all indignant, then spend every waking hour insulting anyone who doesn't agree with them. What irritates (!?!) is the way they feed off the left wing press and regurgitate it as absolute fact. This thread is classic. They have no personal knowledge, experience or relationship with Abbott, but rely solely on the propaganda spouted by their preferred press, never, at any point will they read or listen to other commentators and formulate a considered independent view. Mind you, if you can shout comrade at the bin lorry driver every week it's probably all you need in life.

Hey. Wolfie.....why don't we jump to the end of this conversation where you call me a racist or something. Saves time. Debating with you always ends in a personal smear....

Parley cross... Like me you have make the mistake of assuming that there is any place in these threads for an alternative point of view. It's as futile as trying to explain the difference between opinion and fact to these people. I imagine they spend their days between Centrelink cheques rocking back and forth mumbling about how evil abbot was and living on intravenous ABC news coverage and while creating threads on this forum.

I always wonder how you can come to judgements about a person when you've never met them or spoken to them and rely solely on your preferred choice of newspaper for fact. Dislike him professionally as a politician.... You can judge him in his policies. But how do you judge the man. I've met him and found him a nice bloke. Never understood this desire to smear individuals as a way to promote your own political agenda.

Ah insults again, default response from you. At least you're consistent. I find you so sad, pitiful really, you only come on here to provoke, on subjects that have absolutely nothing to do with providing information to those looking to come to Oz. But if that's what turns you on. Wouldn't mind so much if you offered anything constructive in your threads, other than shouting down or insulting those who don't share your rather extreme views. Not sure why you think your views deserve so much airtime. Have a nice life

Thats a cracker! Mind you, if you consider China, Russia, North Korea, Ukraine, Belarus, Bahrain, etc....not part of the civilised world you may......just have a point. I just love how, in the hands of a Marxist, personal indignation goes to fact in a fraction of a sentence.

Being open minded means being willing to listen to those whose opinions differ from your own and making up your mind after that. I do.... Do you?

Here we go again. But I think I get where you're coming from. You use 'right wing' as an insult and no doubt would love to see dissent from your righteous views banned. You regard your opinion as fact and attack anyone who doesn't automatically agree with you. I already stated I have mixed views on abott, but at least I've met him and spoken to him. I base my views on that, I'm guessing you haven't and can only rely on your preferred newspapers to tell you your opinion. I find your comments about Scott Morrison odd, and rather childish. Have you met him? Or are you forming an opinion based on media coverage only? I hate to break it to you, but media outlets have agendas and bias. That's why, in order to be properly informed you should read both sides of the political debate and formulate an opinion that is your own. Don't worry, when the revolution comes you can ban or burn all of us moderates and open minded individuals.

I didn't complain about you having a go at those on the right. I was pointing out the hypocrisy of you insulting those who don't share your political views yet have a hissy when some one calls you left wing. Free speech knock yourself out, insult away. Abbot fan, mixed. I have had the opportunity to spend a bit of time chatting to him at a dinner in Adelaide I sponsored a couple of months ago. Nice bloke. Didn't like his speech, bit formulaic, but he was very friendly and down to earth. He let a couple of my staff take selfies with him. Had dinner just before the last election with Scott Morrison in a closed room (no press). I've got a lot of time for that guy. If he gets to be the next leader it could be vey interesting. Met a few pollies now since coming here four years ago. Julia G told a very un-PC joke about homosexuals in a lift... What I do like here is the access you get to pollies. If you have an opinion it doesn't take a lot to get in front of any of them and express it.
