Yep, they'll work on an oz made VCR player.

A UK made VCR player will not work though.

    Hi!

But VCR now no longer used to play the videos. You can convert your VHS to DVD an enjoy in new look with best quality.

Wow, six and a half years between posts...is this a record???

I wonder if the OP still uses his VHS collection.

Does anyone still use video tapes?

Just to clarify, a UK made VHS player will work fine in Aus as long you you connect it to your TV with video and audio leads. The only thing that won't work is plugging it in via the antenna connection (and, for the same reasons, you also can't use it to record off air--but I don't know anybody that does that any more anyway).

For the technically minded, the analogue pictures and sound in Australia are identical to the UK. The difference comes when these pictures are converted to radio waves for transmission--at this point there are differences in how things are handled.

        Hi!
My first post on here - so forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.
I'm in the process of a skills assessment for a pastry cook and recently received a request for video evidence. The thing is I have no such video and there is no way I can get it, as my employers would never allow a camera onto the bakery floor.
My agent says it is highly unusual that they would ask for video evidence as that is one of the more obscure options. What I'm wondering is,  has anyone else had a similar experience?  How did it pan out? I'm just wondering if they're building up to a rejection?
        Thanks for reading!
        Cheers,
        Adrian
