Guest Max
Should have mentioned that it was the net kooks that keep him employed!
Guest Neil Meadowcroft
Hi Max, Can assure you that I’m not a "crank" just a very nervous applicant who wants to get his visa. As you will notice on here differing tales on this visa and processing times attached. Also different explanations from each agent, it looks like one size does not fit all. Cheers. Guest Silky Chicken
We sent our application of (non-modl 136 SI) 28th June and we got our visa grant request 9th Feb, bond has been paid and we're just waiting for our passports to be requested to have the visa's put in. It's taken ages it seems for the application to go through, so hang on in there folks! Best wishes, Sara
Guest wfourie
After a week chasing the agent and still not received a reply my husband called Adelaide Processing Centre direct and they informed him that they are processing 27th June at the moment for 136 non modl in Region 4 which is where our app is. They have an SLA of 12 months so they will have processed the app by October (date we sent the app) It all depends on your asco code apparantly. It all seems a bit hit and miss based on comments posted here so will have to just wait and see! Sorry we couldn't provide more information to help. I would suggest others call Adelaide to confirm for themselves. Bec

Looks like our visa is at the same processing centre as yours, never mind just have to be very patient and wait our turn. All the very best with your application. Cheers. Bec Interestingly we phoned Adelaide on Tuesday and the operator said they were processing mid-july for non-modl region 4....the guy sounded quite knowledgable and helpful...so who knows! Guest Neil Meadowcroft
Hi, Sorry if this seems like a silly question but what does region 4 mean? We have applied as ACS (RPL) asco= 2231-11 VISA 136. As far as we know the paperwork is in Adelaide. Cheers.
Guest mattvicki
Its not a silly question at all..... There are 5 regions for processing VISAs from various parts of the world, in the past UK VISAs were all processed in Region 3, South America in say Region X etc etc. Due to volume of Brits wanting better suntans the UK cases are now spread amongst all 5 regions. How fast your application was processed did slightly depend on how busy the region was processing (Regions 2 & 5 were a month ahead etc) The IMMI have recently been swapping cases around to even out the work load and from now on the five regions are getting almost in sync...so the region is not really significant anymore.... They are also looking to publish up to date timescales for processing on the main site for the various VISA subclasses to avoid people constantly jamming their switchboards and this should also put peoples mind more at ease. The site should be up sometime in March 06. Good Luck with your application. Matt 8)
Guest Neil Meadowcroft
Cheers. It seems that we have got more information of this website than we have with the agent. Many thanks once again.
