Automatic transfer from 176 to 119 ?

Ok back ground, we lodged a 176 application in December but found an employer to sponsor us back in February, we applied for a 457 visa but there nomination was rejected as they did not meet the training benchmarks. Resulting in them and us losing money .

 

So we then discussed 119 as the best option all round, they have now obtained certification from the regional body and have asked us to send a 47es to them to lodge alongside there nomination form as they have been told this is faster. But all our details/medicals/police records are already uploaded on our 176.

 

1. Can we get an automatic transfer from 176 to 119 if they complete the Skills Matching database details, even though they have already lodged an application with our details, ie they didnt actually find us via skills matching, but our details are available there.

 

2. We are worried about losing money and our 176 application, what if there nomination is rejected again? I cant see it would be as they only failed on training benchmarks and thats not applicable on 119.

if they were rejected and we had transfered the 176 to a 119 , is that the end of both our 176 and 119 .
