Bosh Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 Hi, I've just landed in Prahran this week. Straight into work, and feet haven't touched the ground, but can't help thinking about the weekend ahead. Does anyone know any decent sports bars / pubs in Prahran / South Yarra which will be showing the England games (preferably somewhere where there's likely to be some like minded people and a good atmosphere). A few of us Poms have been looking for somewhere to watch it live in the CBD (not Prahran unfortunately) and come up with the following venues:- Charles Dickens Tavern - Collins St Sherlock Holmes Inn - Collins St Bridie O'Reilly's - Little Collins St (Not the one in South Yarra) Cricketers Bar, Windsor Hotel - Spring St Or the 24 hour Sportsbar in Crown Casino At the minute we are pretty much settled on the Casino, where at least it should be busy but we are off to check these other bars out tomorrow night purely for research purposes :wink: There are probably some other bars showing the England games live too?
