Pozz Posted March 13, 2010 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Hi guys. Im looking into the possibility of getting sponsored by an employer but not sure of the pro's and con's. I am planning on applying for 175 so this is more of a contingency plan. Can any employer sponsor you? How long are you tied, or do they give you a fixed term contract? Those two things will do more than anything else will to determine whether employer sponsorship in Oz would be possible for you. The only people who are definitely likely to find employer-sponsorship in Oz are the people who work in an occupation which is on the SOL and is part of the medical profession. I am intending to apply for a 175 but I will be struggling to get my application in before im 35 and even with IELTS would then be too low on points.
