docboat Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 The area is lovely. Bibra Lake primary is excellent, but even Coolbellup (adjacent to Bibra Lake) primary has very good teachers. Great walks and nature reserves. Quite a few good supermarkets in the area, easy access to Kwinana Freeway, CBD 20 minute away, and good access to beaches both N and S. Some issues with crime - some areas are not so rosy, but ll in all very pleasant. Kardinya is maybe a bit more up market, Winthrop certainly is. Our elder daughter goes to Corpus Christi and our younger one to Yidarra both in Bateman which we are very pleased with. Would recommend the area.
