Hi Boldover

Have been to Coffs a number of times as my grandmother in law lives there. When I first went about 10 years ago it was somewhere people went to die (albeit a nice place to go). Recently, it has improved quite a bit and has some decent restaurants and bars. It is a bit quiet for me, but it is a nice place to be.

Hope that helps - if you have specific questions just let me know

Coffs is a very nice holiday/retirement place, on a fairly narrow strip of land, twixt sea and mountains. Known as The Banana Coast, it offers a temperate to sub tropical climate. Population is about 65,000.

Brilliant fishing, excellent schools and shopping.

Cheers, Bobj.

Pretty good climate. You could do a lot worse - a lot of people would enjoy the chance to live and work (earning a good income) in a seaside town like Coffs.

If you have the chance of a job there i would definately go for it.

Coffs is my fav place in Australia so far and believe me i have checked out alot of places in my time here so far. Infact we have just stayed there again as we were passing through and every time i visit i am more impressed with the place.

If we had the opportunity we would move there tomorrow.

Cal x
