Guest theturnerclan
all depends on selling the blxxdy house... so fingers crossed Aug/Sep 07 Shelley(keeping everything on track) & Mitchell (chilled laid back... but believe me I'll make him pay when we get there) + 3 children - Eden 8, Noa 5 & Zax 3. We've looked all over like everyone else but we like the look of the school in Jimboomba so I think we'll probably look round there ceder grove etc... depends on OH and commute.... but I did say I'd pay him back for all this stress eventually Shelley

calNgary
LOL,,not quite domestic but i quite like the godess!!!! theres so many people heading this way and a grave lack of rental ,furnished being virtually non exsistent so we thought letting the flat would be a great way to make people feel welcome ,one thing we said was if we had to stay in a B&B with our 2 terrors for a few week we would probably have gone back to the uk through arguing !!we are also in good reach of a variety of areas so location wise its good for a look around too ,, Cal x
Guest EM&M
HI Cal, Thats a great idea, do you have the flat on the house I know a lot of properties are built with Granny Flats?? We are lucky that we can go to our family until we get sorted, however I am concerned that the longer we stay there the more "on holiday" we will feel. Also having 2 little ones under someone elses roof can be quite stressful as you are concerned they might break something and being up at 6am in the morning is no everyones cup of tea lol. We have been looking on the Gold Coast area for unfurnished rentals and there seems to be enough around if you willing to pay $300/350 per week which looks like the going rate. calNgary
Thanks em ,we are having it built as we speak ,when finished it will be a 2bed with bathroom and small area for kettle/toaster etc ,,just wondering who will trust me with the cooking ??lol ,,i am such a people person and love meeting new people ,i also remeber how hard it was with no-one who really understood what we were going through,no furniture,no toys ,no car and no bloody idea !!
