Guest gerbils Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Hi We are moving to Sydney in February on a permanent residents visa and thinking of bringing over our Range Rover Sport TDV8 3.6DT as we love it. It is 15 months old so should be eligble for personal import. I am looking for someone who can provide me with advice on importing it and the cost, to judge if its worth it. Metoo Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 There are a lot of posts and threads on here about importing cars, but there are only two things I can say about your particular car, first, great car, second, you may have to pay luxury car tax as it is worth a fair bit which may make it uneconomical, there are plenty of Landrover dealers in Sydney, have a look at the costs of buying one there as part of your research.
