Guest ppd
I went to North Geelong High school. North Geelong is predominantly European (Croatians, Russians, Polish, Ukranians, Serbians etc). Most of the houses are from the 1960s onwards so it doesn't have a lot of old charm and there aren't a lot of trees .. Visually it's not exciting. There are rundown areas of factories and warehouses. But it's about 10 minutes drive to the city and 5 minutes drive to St. Helen's Beach. It's a very safe area, family orientated, lots of oldies and no council estates. There's a golf course and pokies. If I were you I'd rent somewhere nicer and travel into work - nowhere is too far to drive in Geelong. East Geelong (10 min drive) is lovely, so is West Geelong now (5 minutes away), Highton (maybe 12-15 mins), Newtown (10 mins). Go looky on Google Earth, you'll get a bit of an idea.. Did you take the job?
