Queensland has by far the worst budget position of all the states, and its citizens face the sharpest fall in living standards as unemployment is forecast to almost double in the next two years, from 4.25per cent to 7.25 per cent. Well, that's yer gutter press for yer.................."almost double"? 4.25 doubled is 8.5 not 7.25...............Qld is the "commodity state" Once the global recession lifts, it will be better placed than most to "beat the blues"..................which is what the Gov't is banking on, I'm guessing. kev Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
