jackal Posted March 18, 2009 Share Posted March 18, 2009 Hi folks, Been a while since i posted on here but im looking for some advice about my situation which is - I applied for a 175 visa in september (modl painter and decorator) and my girlfriend has enroled on a college course which starts in july with a student visa . In January i applied for WA state sponsorship but as yet have heard nothing , i called the office yesterday and was told they are snowed under with applications and are proccessing Decembers at present . I think its a very real possibility that my visa will not be sorted by the time my girlfriends course starts so im looking at getting a 6 months tourist visa whilst the other one is being proccessed ! Is this no problem ? Also as i may not be working for 6 months or so does anyone have any tips for surviving on a budget of about 200 gbps per week after buying transport ? Have thought about buying a cheap campervan to live in for 1500 gbp , giving up fags and booze and spending the six months reading, keeping fit and hitting the beach thanks for reading jac Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
