It used to be that Telstra was the best for coverage outside metro areas (& probably still is???). Their web pages usually give coverage maps. Try looking at Telstra, Optus, Vodaphone, Virgin for starters. Coverage is pretty poor outside the metro areas. You'll probably only find coverage in the townships.
