calNgary Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hiya , i have known a few guys who were sparkys, they all struggle at first until they get their QLD electrical licence sorted, more employers will then take you seriously. Its hard to say with the economy at the moment how things will be in 6 months but keep an eye on sites like www.seek.com and www.alljobs.com as these should give you an idea of whats around. Also dont be scared of approaching companys even if they arent advertising, i have known a couple of people get jobs this way, the WHITE PAGES on line should give you a list of all electrical places in and around brisbane.
