Guest Gollywobbler
Hi Rocki I've heard 5-7 months in Perth, calculated from the time when the employer's end of things is complete and the visa application is made. Can you not get another 457 visa to tide you over if need be? Best wishes Gill
Waitingawhile
Hi thanks Gollywobbler you are so reliable in responding it is appreciated. I am no where near the end of my 457 and have negotiated that it will last for 4 years if need be so it shouldnt be a problem but really want to put down roots as I feel not really settled so am gonna go for it. Guest Gollywobbler
Hi Rocki I completely agree with your wish to feel properly rooted and settled and with your intention to get cracking and get PR organised as soon as you can. lynnes
Hi, from what I can remember from what I was told at my interview I think you can apply for PR after 2 years, or your company can apply on your behalf. Dont quote me on this though cos my head was like cotton wool after being offered a job, I was so excited I could barely remember my own name!. lynne
