Was wondering if anyone had any good tips for how to find rental properties. I will be by myself so would like to find a spare room in a house with other aussies. Quoll Posted August 16, 2008 Share Posted August 16, 2008 You could do worse than try The Gumtree which has some flat share options and is mainly for young people on the move. Failing that, the local paper will have a flat share list - they are usually better at the weekends. Or, you could try the university accommodation service, although they focus on finding digs for students, they may have vacancies advertised somewhere.
