Jon the Hat Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Hi all Looking ahead to when I can apply for citizenship, I had assumed I had to count 4 years from the day I arrived to live in Australia, however I have now read a few posts suggesting I can take my activation date Feb 2019, even though I then left AU for 2.5 years, moving permanently in September 2021. This would mean I can apply a year earlier than I thought (allowing for 12 months spent outside Australia at the start of my 4 years, give or take 6 weeks or so of other trips). Is this right or am I going mad? 1 Quote
welljock Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 That's sounds right, unless they've changed it. 1 1 Quote
