howie67
Hi all, We are currently based in Sydney and are going to apply for a UK spouse visa. Im British and my wife is Australian (no ancestry). Does anyone know whether the 62.5K GBP financial requirement can be met by a relative (based in the UK) transferring the money to an account held in my name here? Thanks in advance! Marisawright
No it can’t. You must have held the funds for at least 12 months, unless it is equity in your home. Note the funds can be anywhere in the world, they don’t have to be in UK Edited January 26, 2022 by Marisawright

LincolnH
Any idea which form it is? I seem to have found the Spouse visa but it seems to say on UK gov website 'use this visa if your planning on joining your spouse who already lives in UK'? You take that form with you to the biometric interview with your proof of funds etc.
