midster
G'day all, my last surviving family member has passed in the UK has passed away unfortunately. When the will is divided I will need to transfer money here. Has anyone got any advice on what service they used? And maybe who to avoid? Thanks all
Marisawright
I use Moneycorp and have always been happy with them. Several other members use Transferwise.
rammygirl
I would register with at least two fx companies. I have used OFX and TransferWise in the past. Then you can compare them when you are ready to transfer to see who will get you the most dollars. Don’t assume the fee free option is best it depends on the rate As well. Look at the end result. Guest The Pom Queen
I would highly recommend chatting with @Susan from Moneycorp . You do have the smaller companies like TransferWise but they are usually only competitive on smaller rates plus if you need to chat with someone it’s impossible. If you chat with @Susan from Moneycorp you have one on one help and advice from someone in Australia or one of her colleagues if you live in the UK
Susan from Moneycorp
Hello Midster, Firstly, sincere sympathies to you at what is, understandably, a very sad time for all of your family. This is something I have often helped clients with ~ will be delighted to have a chat with you as and when you feel able. Respectfully, Sue ~
