DASP application stuck

Hello,

My supperannuation is currently held by the ATO. It's been more than 28 days and they have not released the funds to my bank account (Australian one).

I have permanetly departed from Australia 2 years ago.

I called the ATO twice but the agents told me that they could not locate my application even though I received a confirmation email.

Does anyone know what can be the problem with my application? Do they normally request extra information?

I suggest you submit your application in writing / email again. Covid has stuffed a lot of things up this year, with some staff off work and others working from home.

I've heard other people whose DASP applications have taken a lot longer than that, even in normal times.

One of the things that typically delays DASP is the ATO receiving the confirmation from IMMI that your visa has been cancelled or has expired. Would have thought that would be fairly straight forward but apparently not.
