Health Checks

Hi

I'm curious as to what the medical screening entails and what sort of things would be considered as no-go as far as the AU government is concerned

Anyone who knows this or had been through it and willing to share their knowledge? It would be gratefully received.

A medical condition that is likely to cost the Australian government too much or use scarce resoures could result in a visa refusal. If you sknow or suspect that an applicant has such a conditon, sonsulting a registgered migration agent for an assessment would be a sound step.

No. As stated above they want to be sure you won’t cost too much or use scarce resources.

If you are very overweight or obviously unhealthy they might want to check for any other issues that might impact this.

The chest x Ray looks for TB  blood tests look for HIV OR Hepititis. Etc.
