Katie W
Hi, we are in the process of applying for a 189 visa. having submitted out EOI today. We have been informed by our agent, that we now need a certificate of employment. We are self employed - have been for over 12 years - the company was a sole trader, then a partnership and now a limited company during this time. what is a certificate of employment and how do we get hold of one? many thanks. mallan82450
I think you would need to obtain a statutory declaration from someone who can confirm your employment history as self employers - if you search 'Statutory Declaration' on here there are a few posts. I've attached something I found on the VETASSESS site but I might not be correct. Katie You are paying the agent to answer your questions. He should explain exactly what he means by a certificate of employment and exactly how to get one. Ask him.
