Nagme Posted December 25, 2018 Share Posted December 25, 2018 My parents have valid 600 visa till December 2020.and it is no furture stay.Could they apply for 143 visa which mentioned you cant apply if your other visa is no furture stay?or should wait for expiring date of their tourist visa? Tulip1 Posted December 25, 2018 Share Posted December 25, 2018 They will need to return home at the end of their current visa and then apply. The 143 is an offshore visa. They would have been better off applying before the 600 I would have thought as there’s cutrently about a six year wait for the 143. Now they will need to return home in two years time and assuming the wait is the same it will be 8 years before they can settle in Oz.
