Does anyone know when applying for this visa what documents etc are required as evidence.  I am thinking birth/marriage/divorce/investments/bank statements etc?

Any advice will be appreciated.

There is a lot of information on the Dept of Home Affairs website, but if your parents are applying now you do know that the waiting time for grant is reckoned to be up to 30 years? https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa-1/804-

I think you will need documents for birth, marriage and divorce for everyone included in the application plus their children. But you don't need to include bank statements or investment info.

It may be worth talking to an immigration agent and I have always found @Alan Collett to be very professional.

Cam I respectfully say that if you are not sure as to the documents needed to support a parent visa application it will probably be best to approach a professional for formal guidance on the risks associated with such an application.

The parent/s applying for this visa should understand what s/he/they are getting into.

Best regards.
