POMMY JO
Hi Everyone, new to this forum and just wondered if anyone could help me. We lodged our visa application in January 2016, and as we all know since then the processing times have escalated. I am thinking about applying for a 600 (12 month visitors visa) to enable my husband and I to go to Australia and spend time with our children as they both live there whilst awaiting a decision on the 143. Has anyone done this before or does anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks in advance
VERYSTORMY
Hi and welcome to the forum. You can do that, but do let your CO know as you have to be off shore when the grant comes through. Do though be aware there is a risk if the 143 were granted first in the system and then the 600 as the 600 would cancel the
POMMY JO
Thanks for your advice, think the 600 would be granted first though as not expecting the 143 for at least another 18 months, but good to know.
